Our latest website maintenance training, held on 22nd January 2026, proved to be a memorable experience—though not without its challenges. The session was unfortunately marred by ridiculously poor network service from MTN, which caused repeated disruptions and tested the flow of presentations and hands-on activities. At several points, connectivity issues slowed progress and required facilitators and participants alike to constantly adapt.
Despite these setbacks, the training pressed on with remarkable resilience. The participants demonstrated exceptional patience, understanding, and an enduring spirit, refusing to let the network challenges overshadow the purpose of the session. Breaks were used productively, discussions continued offline where possible, and the facilitators adjusted their approach to ensure key concepts in website maintenance were clearly communicated.
In the end, the training was successful and impactful, thanks largely to the commitment of everyone involved. The session brought together members from WHARC and the web developer, fostering collaboration and shared learning. What could have been derailed by technical difficulties instead became a testament to teamwork, perseverance, and a shared determination to build and maintain a stronger, more reliable web presence.
